As part of our overall safety goals, Swift Aviation uses the WBAT website to submit and document incidents, Both safety related and not. The information specified in employee reports are used to identify the root causes and determine appropriate remedial actions which are then monitored for effectiveness.
The SMS Report DS-100 is used to document any incident that needs to be reported to Swift Air Management. It will be used for safety related incidents that do not require the protection of an ASAP report.
(The site opens in the "All Employees" group, ready to start a DS-100 report)
Swift Aviation, in cooperation with our employee labor organizations and the FAA, has established an Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) for Flight Crew, Maintainers, Ground Crew, Cabin Crew, and Flight Followers. The Swift Aviation ASAP is a voluntary, self-reporting program designed to identify and reduce possible flight safety concerns. ASAP uses employee input to identify significant safety concerns and issues; operational deficiencies; non-compliance with regulations; deviations from company policies and procedures; and unusual events. In partnership with the all relevant departments, work groups, and the FAA, each report is investigated and corrective actions determined based on a non-disciplinary approach to flight safety.
